Meera Makwana

Meera is a conservation biologist, with over 6 years of experience working in various aspect of wildlife conservation and research, including landscape ecology, human-wildlife conflict mitigation, and landscape restoration. Academically a zoologist, Meera is an avid birder with deep rooted belief in human-wildlife co-existence. 

Meera joined TNCC in 2025, and is presently tasked with management of our project in the Bandhavgarh – Sanjay Dubri landscape, which is part of Central India conservation strategy.
