Mradul is a project management and research professional with more than nine years’ experience in project initiation, planning and monitoring. He has worked on a diversified range of assignments and has handled more than 25 projects on forestry, agriculture, and climate change mitigation. This has given him a good understanding of the breadth of grassroots challenges in the implementation of conservation and livelihoods programs in India.
Before joining TNC he worked with top consultancies and research organisations in India. Apart from research and consultancy assignments, he has been involved in the planning and implementation of drought mitigation and forestry projects in Madhya Pradesh. He has also worked closely with central ministries for evaluation and India’s Central Sector Schemes on Agriculture and Animal Husbandry.
At TNC India Mradul works as a Field Manager - Restoration and is providing support to the field partners in planning and implementation of the Central Highlands Restoration Project in Chhattisgarh.
Mradul has a Masters in Forest Management from the Indian Institute of Forest Management. He joined TNC in 2021 and works from his home office in Raipur in Chhattisgarh, India.
