Mr Hemendra Kothari

Mr. Kothari, a veteran investment banker, is as well-known for his success in the financial world as he is for his immense contributions to the cause of environment and wildlife conservation in India. A nature lover at heart, he has remained committed to this passion and has guided many conservation organisations and State Wildlife Boards to success. He is the Chairman of DSP Investment Managers; Founder, Chairman, and Managing Trustee of the Wildlife Conservation Trust; and Founder of the Hemendra Kothari Foundation which assists other NGOs in the areas of education, healthcare, art, culture, heritage and sports. He serves as a member of the Rajasthan State Board for Wildlife under the Chairmanship of the Chief Minister and has also served on the Maharashtra State Board. Mr. Kothari is the Chairman of The Nature Conservancy’s India Advisory Board and also founder donor to the India Program.
