Ganges River, India
Offerings of flowers and fire float down down stream as over a million Indian Hindus come out to witness the Ganga Dussehra Festival at the Har-Ki-Pairi Ghat located along the sacred Ganges river in the holy city of Haridwar, India. It is believed that Vishnu is said to have dropped some heavenly nectar and left a footprint, making this the most holiest place along the Ganges river.
