Biography
Sunpreet leads TNCC’s conservation portfolio. Based in New Delhi, she joined TNCC in 2019 and previously held staff position as the Forestry & Land Use Manager. She has been providing strategic, technical, and staff leadership to enhance portfolio health and drive efficiency, quality, and impact across conservation and climate initiatives.
With almost two decades of experience with multi-disciplinary teams, Sunpreet has led a variety of projects across forestry, natural resource management, rural livelihoods, climate adaptation, and renewable energy. She has extensive experience leading M&E for more than ten cross-cutting projects. Prior to TNC, her experience comprises leading the NRM team at InsPIRE Network for Environment (formerly Winrock International India), and working in the Performance Team at Global Environment Facility/The World Bank’s Independent Evaluation Office.
Sunpreet is a silver-medallist in her Masters in Environmental Management from the Indian Institute of Forest Management (IIFM), Bhopal, and also holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Zoology.
